In our Utmost quest to restore the integrity and reliability of NGO's in Nigeria, prior to creating a transparent platform, it's also to our greatest duty to make certain that donated funds are accurately embossed and sincerely used as defined, by Ngo's, reprentatives and even the beneficiaries, from campaign raising to ensuring the secure delivery of your donations, our team will make sure you have the best fundraising experience possible. The Naija Donors Team takes your safety and security very seriously. Many measures are taken to ensure a positive fundraising experience for both Naija Donors benefitiaries and donors alike. The Naija Donors community is designed to reward authenticity and transparency during fundraising campaigns.

It is in regards to this our designated responsibility that we see it crucial to define a special team to do all the financial security checks before, during and after donations are made to concerned Organizations or Individuals. The team is called the "Trust & Safety" Team, equipped with reliable individuals, country force personnel and other aiding security organizations.

This team is licensed by our laws to properly investigate all outflow from Donors to beneficiaries, particularly at the after-donation stage, making sure funds are properly used as supposed.

We offer Refund in cases:

Protecting your generosity is our top priority, It takes a leap of faith to help someone else. That’s why we want to honor your generosity by backing it up with a refund assurance in case things goes wrong. 

Our team of specialists work night and day to make sure that funds get to the intended recipient, and used as described in the campaign every time. In the rare case that something isn’t right, and is detected and confirmed by our "Trust & Safety" Team, then we will refund your donations appropriately while we try to resolve or penalise the fault.

Payment Security:

All transactions initiated through Naija Donors are securely encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. A small security indicator, usually a lock icon or green bar, will appear in the web browser you’re using to verify the security of the transaction. Also money is received and moved via "Paystack" a PCI-certified, auditor certified, PCI Service Provider Level 1 - the highest certification level. All connections through the services are forced to happen over HTTPS using TLS 1.2 (SSL).

Beware, be Guided:

Beware of crowdfunding Campaigns that attempt to bypass the prescribed donation method (ie, posting direct links to alternative payment methods or any external contact information). Only complete payments by clicking on the large ‘Donate’ button found on each Naija Donors crowdfunding page. Please report any pages that request direct payments or users who attempt to contact you to arrange an alternative method of payment.

Please beware of, and immediately report any solicitations made through your Naija Donors crowdfunding page. Naija Donors will never contact its users through this method. Do not provide your personal contact information, such as phone number, to anyone that requests it. Ask questions and have a conversation over email if need be. Additionally, exercise caution if you receive offers from 3rd-party fundraising companies or individuals offering personal assistance.

NEVER arrange to personally meet anyone who contacts you through your Naija Donors crowdfunding page. Report any suspicious activity directly to us.

Also in a case you find something that doesn’t look right in a campaign, kindly report to us
